💙 Braden Orains A Very Tired Supply Teacher

Braden is no stranger to the odd-goings of Hometown, having been born and raised in the town themself; in fact, they've been a part of some odd-goings themself. But that was in the past, and they were almost certain that was the end of it. Or, well, they'd hoped that was the end of it.

Something feels Off about them, and even they can tell that's something off. Unfortunately, they can't quite put a finger on What feels off. They'd be lying, though, if they said they were bothered by it.

Trivia & Other Info:

  • Has not had a good night's rest since they were 16 yrs of age.
  • Often wears wrists braces due to chronic wrist pain.
  • Is primarily a Brawler in the Darkworld, but does dabble in spell casting. All spells are Elemental based spells; has not, and cannot, learn any Healing Spells.
  • Their Wrist Braces in the Lightworld become Arm Bracers in the Darkworld.

Relations:

  • ALPHYS:
    • An old childhood friend. After an incident involving the Darkworld, she and Braden drifted apart due to them closing themself off. They're still friendly towards her, but it has been a while since they've talked to each other as friends.
  • BLAIR:
    • Seems like an okay enough kid. Braden doesn't have much of an opinion of them otherwise.
  • CHARA:
    • Braden isn't too familiar with Chara, only knowing them as one of Ms. Toriel's children, but they've heard enough to come to the conclusion that Chara is a cyptid.
  • FRISK:
    • Only really knows them as Ms. Toriel's child. Other than that, they seem like a nice enough kid.
  • HARPER:
    • Another old childhood friend that Braden drifted from due to closing themself off. Has only really talked to him as co-workers as of late.
  • IZEL: (Swan)
    • Something about this kid feels Off, and Braden can't quite tell what. Although they acted pretty antagonistic, they have to admit, there's something impressive about their way of thinking.
  • KRIS:
    • One of Ms. Toriel's children.
    • Why were they late on the first day if they got a ride in with their mother? And where the Hell did they go when they went to get chalk???
  • SUSIE:
    • Although they have not personally taught Susie, Braden has heard QUITE enough to know that she's one of the 'Problem Children'.
    • Like Kris: Where The Actual Hell Did She Go After Being Sent To Get Chalk.
  • TORIEL:
    • Braden respects Ms. Toriel quite a lot, given she's one of the senior teachers at the School.

    • Knows absolutely nothing about him, all they know is that they can't read his god damn hand writing.

As a retired Court Magician, Seam spends their days hobbling along in their little PAWn Seap. They mostly keep to themself, but they're certainly not one to send company away. In fact, they're happy to host company within their little tent, spinning tales of their old days in the Court!

Trivia & Other Info:

  • Entered the Court initially as a Court Witch, which was changed to Magician for two reasons. The first being that they came out as non-binary, the second being that their magic was primarily used for Entertainment Purposes rather than Practical Use.
    • Specialized in using their magic to add flair to performances, much like a pyrotechnician.
    • Stayed a Court Magician for some time after locking Jevil away, but retired after a time due to the emotional, mental, and physical toll it the job on them.
    • Hasn’t used their magic for much other than practical use since they retired as Court Magician. They’ve mainly used it to keep their shop lit and maintained.
  • Sometimes acts much older than they actually are as a means to excuse their exhaustion and physical state.
  • Before retiring as Court Magician, Seam would just as frequently wear skirts and dresses as they would pants. In fact, they would still wear such clothing now if they put more effort into how they looked as they did back then.
    • Currently is the equivalent to an old man that wears pjamjams and a housecoat all the time.
  • Used to be quite confident, and a little cocky, before The Incident. Used to have a lot more energy in their tone of voice.
  • Seems rather friendly and sociable, but is in truth quite distant. They’re a little wary of trying to make new friends.
  • (CW Drinking/Alcohol) Doesn’t drink too often, and is rather responsible when drinking. As soon as they notice themselves getting tipsy, they’ll put down whatever they’re drinking.
    • Prefers Hard Seltzers and Cocktails where you cannot taste the alochol sting.
    • Cannot drink Wine.
    • Does not like the taste of Beer.

Relations:

  • JEVIL: (Old Friend)
    • Seam cares deeply still for Jevil, but finds it awkward to express due to being convinced that Jevil dislikes them greatly for locking him away. Maybe one day they can reconnect with their old friend.
  • KING:
    • Seam has quite a few thoughts on King. Though they were not as close as Jevil was to King Point, they still enjoyed performing for him. Even doted on him a little bit, giving him knick knacks they’d find between performing for the Court.
    • When King took the throne, however, Seam felt how things changed; how he had changed. Over time, Seam’s respect for Point formed into something mixed between Pity and Fear.
    • Now, with how things went down with the Lightners and Ralsei, with King no longer being… well, The King, Seam doesn’t know what they think at the moment.
  • KRIS:
    • Seams thinks Kris has a pretty good head on them. After all, they manage to help everyone who comes to Castle Town in some way or another. Not to mention, they calmed Jevil.
  • LANCER:
    • Seam doesn’t currently have much to say about young Lancer outside of the brief observations they’ve made. He’s certainly energetic, and still has quite the young mindset.
    • They will admit, though… They’re a little worried about Lancer taking the throne at such a young age, given past events.
  • RALSEI:
    • Seam has a level of respect for Ralsei, given that he’s worked this hard to make everyone in Castle Town happy and comfortable.
  • ROUXLS KAARD:
    • Seam has quite a lot of respect for Rouxls, given his Rules Card ability. However, that is not the only reason they respect Rouxls. They admire their hard working nature, and the way he treats young Lancer.
  • SUSIE:
    • Seam doesn’t actually have that much of an opinion on Susie at the moment. All they can glean is that she's a rather strong one.

  • Hates clowns due to being compared to The Knight's old 'Toy' in terms of usefulness.
    • Doesn't yet know that Jevil is 'Toy'.
  • Will randomly repeat TikToks and Other Short Memes, even ones that are seemingly from the future!
  • Shrinks when he takes significant damage, but grows back to full height when fully healed.
  • Date of birth is not truly known as it seems to randomize every hour. This, however, does not affect his age as it is representative of how long he's been around for.
  • Has only within recent years started wearing the duo-coloured shades. He tried to get a duo-coloured suit, but the only one he could find within his budget was a black one.
  • Why does he have this strange sense of [[Dread]] looming over him?
